Run by Falmouth Harbour Commissioners (FHC), Falmouth Visitors' Yacht Haven has become increasingly popular since its opening in 1982, enjoying close proximity to the amenities and entertainments of Falmouth town centre. Sheltered by a breakwater, the Haven caters for 100 boats and offers petrol and diesel supplies as well as good shower and laundry facilities. Falmouth Harbour is considered by some to be the cruising capital of Cornwall and its deep water combined with easily navigable entrance ? even in the severest conditions ? makes it a favoured destination for visiting yachtsmen.
