Located in the SE corner of Ireland, Kilmore Quay is a small rural fishing village situated approximately 14 miles from the town of Wexford and 12 miles from Rosslare ferry port. Its 55-berthed marina, offering shelter from the elements as well as various on shore facilities, has become a regular port of call for many cruising yachtsmen. Kilmore's fishing industry dates back over the last hundred years and among the species of fresh fish available are bass, shark, skate and whiting. With several nearby areas of either historical or natural significance, Kilmore is renowned for its ?green' approach to the environment.
