During 2006/7 an additional 290 berths have been added bringing the capacity of Dun Laoghaire Marina to 800+. A new facility unit is located between Piers Q and R providing showers and toilets. Visitor berthing is normally on the hammerheads at the fairway ends of each pier. Located within the main harbour, the marina is adjacent to the STENA High Speed ferry terminal linking Dun Laoghaire with Holyhead. The marina is 500m from the town centre and 50m from a rail service to Dublin city and Dublin Airport. The marina is an ideal location for a planned crew change or a simple cruise rest. Boats from 8m up to 50m with a minimum draught is 3.6m LWS can be accommodated.
