Opened in 1993, Sovereign Harbour is situated a few miles NE of Eastbourne and is accessible at all states of the tide and weather except for in strong NE to SE'ly winds. Entered via a lock at all times of the day or night, the marina is part of one of the largest waterfront complexes in Britain, enjoying close proximity to shops, restaurants and a multiplex cinema. A short bus or taxi ride takes you to Eastbourne, where again you will find an array of shops and eating places to suit all tastes and budgets.
