Sunderland Marina sits on the north bank of the River Wear and is easily accessible through the outer breakwater at all states of the tide. Among the extensive range of facilities on site are a newsagent, cafe, hairdresser and top quality Italian restaurant. Other pubs, restaurants, hotels and cafes are located nearby on the waterfront. Both the Wear Boating Association and the Sunderland Yacht Club are also located in the vicinity and welcome yachtsmen to their respective bars and lounges.
