South Ferriby Marina is run by Clapson & Sons, an established company founded in 1912. The marina site was developed in 1967 and today offers a comprehensive range of services, including heated workshops for osmosis repairs, general boat repairs and ample storage space. Its well stocked on site chandlery is open until 1700 seven days a week. Situated at Barton upon Humber, the marina lies on the south bank of the River Humber at the southern crossing of the Humber Bridge, approximately eight miles south west of Kingston upon Hull. Good public transport links to nearby towns and villages include train services to Cleethorpes and Grimsby, and bus connections to Scunthorpe and Hull.
