Tacktick's instruments are unique wireless, solar powered electronics which offer enhanced reliability together with sophisticated functions in a rugged, waterproof package.
On display will be Tacktick’s Queens Award winning range of Micronet wireless instruments which offer simple-to-install, lightweight, totally portable sophisticated instruments suitable for cruising and racing yachts both power and sail.
New for 2008 is Tacktick’s Maxi range of super-large wireless displays designed specifically for racing and large cruising yachts.
The Maxi range comprises of the Maxi Display (with 50mm digits), the Dual Digital Maxi Display, the Vertical Wind Transmitter, the Mast Rotation Unit and the Remote Display for controlling the system and data in the palm of your hand.
Tacktick’s Maxi range offers an impressive array of innovative features including a start line function that tells racers to speed up or slow down as they approach the start line, a crucial tool for optimising starts. The displays use high contract LCD screens with super-large digits to give maximum clarity. With no wires to run through the boat or up the mast and super-thin, lightweight displays, Tacktick’s instruments offer the most weight efficient package for race boat owners.
Designed specifically for sports and keel boats Tacktick’s Race Master provides critical tactical race information including race compass and wind shift indicator as well as countdown timer.
The Micronet Race Master is suitable for small cruisers and day sailors and provides wireless speed and depth information and can be linked to the wireless wind system.
The world’s leading digital compass for dinghies, the Micro Compass will also be on display. Used by top sailors around the world including in Beijing 2008 the Micro Compass gives sailors all the data needed to react to even the smallest wind shifts for medal winning performances.
