The Musto BR1 range, introduced this season, has met with great success thanks to its breathability, design features and attractive pricing.  It will be prominent at Southampton Boat Show on such stands as Andark and Marine Superstore.

BR1 is based on a nylon-faced hydrophilic-coated fabric.  It's lightweight, durable, waterproof and breathable.  

Selected for its versatility, the BR1 range is targeted at those sailors and powerboat enthusiasts who go afloat for relaxation rather than the highest levels of competition and who are unlikely to face severe conditions for long periods - and isn't that the vast majority of the broad boating fraternity?

BR1 Channel Jacket
With comfort and ease of movement in mind, this jacket is designed for coastal sailing but retains many of the features necessary for offshore sailing such as the fully adjustable, roll-away, fluorescent hood, fleece-lined collar, double cuffs, handwarmer pockets and facility to attach a lifejacket.

Two alternative jackets are available - the BR1 Inshore Jacket and BR1 Inshore Race Jacket (also available in women's sizes 8 - 18).  The Inshore Jacket is priced at £100; the others at £125.  

There's plenty of colour choice including Powder Blue/Platinum for the ladies' Inshore Race model.  

BR1 Trousers come in both men's and women's sizes as above.  They are high cut with Velcro-adjustable, non-slip elasticated braces.
